Unfortunately there has not been a lot of caching going on over the last couple of weeks for us. This is because we are in the process of packing up and moving. We’re not going far, just to the other side of Watford but we are moving to a smaller place and this means that we have spent a lot of time sorting through all our stuff and working out what we really need to take with us and, more importantly, what we don’t.
There has been some excellent news though on the geocaching front. We have had permission granted to place a series of 12 geocaches not far from us. The route will pass through some farmland, a peaceful hamlet, alongside a river and through some woods. We are so excited about the news and just a little cheesed off that we will have to wait until June before we get a chance to actually place the caches due to moving home. As well as this great news, we have also been granted permission to place geocaches in another woods not too far from us so it looks like we are going to be quite busy over the coming months.
I am definitely starting to get withdrawal symptoms from finding caches though, I do hope we can get out soon, if only to do a bit of local caching… my hands are starting to shake.
