A Coin from down under!

spider_coinIt is pretty rare to find a geocoin out in the wild these days. In two years of caching and over 1100 caches I think we have found less than half a dozen. It was a really nice treat therefore to find a cool coin nestling in a cache in Hertfordshire today (full blog to follow soon). Not only that but this one has travelled a fair few miles to get here. It originated in Australia and has racked up over 17,000 miles so far. You can see how it travelled over here using the link to the Geocoin Page on geocaching.com.I wish we could find more lovely coins like this.

If you want to find a really lovely coin, there’s one in my house – somewhere! Argh!
Had put it in my pocket to put in a really special cache, the cache had been muggled (that one really p’eed me off…), then got home and and put the coin ‘somewhere safe’! Balls!
