Holy Heart Attack!!

Today a new power trail has gone live about 40k north of us on the Bedfordshire Cambridgeshire border. 479 caches make up the Hatley Heart Attack (GC5GACQ). Yes, you read that right… 479… four hundred and seventy nine geocaches. It has set the Facebook groups alight with chatter and the local, and not so local, FTFers are twitching mightily. I won’t be rushing out for the FTFs, but plans are already afoot to tackle this monster, or at least some of it, next year!

Oh my! How have they been allowed to put so many close together? Or is that the nature of a power trail? Or, I could just be being very daft and they only look that close because you’re zoomed out. In any case, how exciting!

Yes way too much! We did the bit as far from home as possible and the bit that has a massive gap. There are still 457 that we haven’t found so plenty for next year. I needed something to cheer me up after walking out of work on Thursday
